Modal Lenzing® is an ecological material used in responsible fashion for its characteristics of strength, softness, as well as its low environmental impact. It is an artificial fiber, i.e. a fiber obtained from the transformation of wood pulp into a spinnable material, by various chemical processes. Its manufacture is very similar to that of viscose: the wood cellulose undergoes a chemical reaction in contact with a solvent, which is then recovered up to 95%, and reused in other industries.
