Claudie is certified B Corp
Claudie Pierlot is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the B Corp label, with a score of 96.7 points.

We are delighted to see the initiatives of the Claudie Pierlot teams recognised and to join a community of committed companies. B Corp is an internationally recognised certification that assesses the social, societal and environmental impact of companies. Demanding and based on a holistic approach, it unites a global community committed to the common good and encourages us to envision a more sustainable and inclusive economic system. This particular focus on the challenges of our industry has been deeply rooted in Claudie Pierlot’s identity for several years.
Environment
37.3 out of 48 points*
We are working to reduce our environmental impact (CO₂ emissions, water consumption, biodiversity). Since 2022, we have reduced our carbon footprint by 30% and selected more sustainable materials for 85% of our 2024 collections, while 71% of the items had an advanced level of traceability. In addition, we have launched a second-hand purchase and resale programme to promote a circular approach to fashion.
Employees
24.9 out of 40 points*
We care about the well-being, safety and development of our teams. 69% of our shop managers have been promoted from within, an average of 18 hours of training has been given to our teams, and we have implemented a parental policy giving all our employees worldwide the same rights as French employees. We foster a culture of dialogue by conducting internal satisfaction surveys to inform our actions and progress together.
Local authority
15.9 out of 31 points*
We believe in partnerships based on trust, ethics and transparency. By 2024, 100% of our manufacturing partners will have undergone social audits by independent third parties. Unsold goods are donated to charities.
Governance
15.2 out of 18 points*
We integrate the CSR dimension into our decision-making bodies and our strategy, and have high female representation at the management level. A committee of external stakeholders helps inform our social and environmental policies.

Conscious of our responsibility as a key player in the textile industry, we have gradually deployed a strategy to rethink our production and operations methods. To measure its effectiveness and help us improve, we initiated a certification process two years ago by assessing our actions across the five impact areas defined by B Lab.
Our environmental commitments
We are committed to:
more responsible sourcing
We are committed to ensuring that 100% of our collections are made from certified materials by 2030, including at least 30% recycled materials. We are also aiming for complete traceability of our supply chains.
We are committed to:
reducing carbon emissions
We will also continue our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, with the aim of cutting our emissions by 36% between 2022 and 2030 (in line with the 1.5°C trajectory set by the Paris Climate Agreements).
We are committed to:
protecting biodiversity
We will pursue an active policy to prevent the risks of deforestation associated with our procurement chain (leather, viscose) and develop partnerships in support of regenerative agriculture.
Faced with the challenges facing society:
Our initiatives
Social audits on working conditions will also be carried out with our indirect suppliers. We also aim to promote inclusion by increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities, both at head office and in our sales outlets.
Our manifesto
The writing of our Manifesto, which elevates joy as a guiding principle, proved to be decisive. It embodies both the legacy of our founder and the expression of practical initiatives, notably marking the starting point of our commitment to social causes.
Our chosen cause
In the years to come, we will continue to develop our sponsorship activities in support of our major cause: "Bringing happiness to women affected by illness." It's an initiative that underlines our determination to take a more active role in tackling major social issues.
This certification does not represent an end in itself, but rather a long-term commitment to continuing our drive for continuous improvement.
At Claudie Pierlot, we will always strive to do good, to do things beautifully and, every day, to do better.
